Descend stairs reciprocally with 1 handrail (ages 3-4) or without handrail (ages 4 +).

 

*Modification: If unable to perform reciprocally with one foot on each step, you may work on using each leg to lead with both feet coming to each step (take turns with each leg). You can give verbal cues of “one foot, one foot” or “take big steps”.
