Virtual Therapeutic Kids Yoga

In BAC Kids Yoga classes, breath and movement are utilized in an interactive combination to promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness with a special focus on social and emotional development. This specialized program has been adapted for a virtual format and will provide opportunities for social participation and connection in addition to sharing the benefits of yoga with children. Benefits of yoga include mindfulness, deep breathing, improved attention, decreased anxiety, better grades, kindness, and self-regulation. The best part - anyone can do yoga! No equipment needed.

Classes are taught by our very own Arielle Simons, Occupational Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, certified Flow & Grow Kids Yoga Teacher, who has additional training in teaching yoga to improve sensory modulation, self-regulation and motor skills in kids with Autism, ADHD, Developmental Disorders, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. With small class sizes, each yoga program is designed and individualized based on the child's needs.
