BAC Summer Camp
BAC Camp is designed and led by the BAC's awesome team of OTs, PTs, and SLPs and provides typical summer camp activities in a fun and supportive setting. Our low camper to staff ratio and built-in supports allow your child to succeed and experience the fun of summer camp! Camp includes obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, outside games, story time, cooking, gross motor games, and more! Please be sure to read through ALL information below if you are interested in registrating your child for camp this summer.

Is camp appropriate for my child? BAC camp is led by BAC's OTs, PTs, and SLPs, with additional support provided by clinic aides and high school/college aged interns. While we anticipate that the majority of campers will be able to participate in a 3:1 ratio, we are committed to helping all children access a summer camp experience and would be happy to discuss additional supports that we can provide for your child if they have higher support needs. Please email MacKenzie Rickert (OT) at mackenzie.rickert@bostonabilitycenter.com to discuss this further and determine if camp would be a good fit for your child!
How much does camp cost?
Camp costs $600 per session and cannot be billed through insurance.
What is registration like?
-
Registration will open on February 2nd at noon and will be available at the red button below. Spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a spot, you will be asked to complete a basic registration form and pay a $100 deposit.
-
Once a spot is reserved by paying the $100 deposit, your family will receive a link to more in-depth registration forms that gather important information about your child and their support needs. These forms must be completed within 48 hours, otherwise the reserved spot will be given to another family and a portion of the deposit will be lost.
-
BAC is committed to ensuring a safe experience for all campers. If BAC determines that we are not able to safely accommodate your child's support needs, you will be notified as soon as possible, and your deposit will be refunded in full. If BAC is not familiar with your child and their support needs, we may conduct a phone interview and/or invite your child for a screening in our gym space to get to know your child.
-
Remaining $500 balance will be due by 6/1/26.
What is your refund policy?
-
If registration forms are not completed within 48 hours of paying your deposit, your reserved spot will be given to another family. $50 of your $100 deposit will be refunded, and $50 will be lost.
-
$50 of the $100 deposit required to reserve a spot can be returned if canceling participation prior to 6/1/26
-
No refund to a deposit will be available if canceling participation on or after 6/1/26
Can my child who does not have support needs attend?
Camp is designed to help every child be successful and have fun. While we would like to keep this offering available to as many children with support needs as possible, we know that siblings and friends of children with support needs may be interested as well. Siblings are welcome to attend! If you are registering more than one child for camp, you will be able to do so via one payment form.
