Did you know that October 6th is World Cerebral Palsy Day?
BAC clinicians have partnered with the SMILe Lab at Northeastern University to support their recruitment of family participants. SMILe Lab researchers are hoping to find families of kids with cerebral palsy (CP) who are willing to share their experiences related to their child’s communication and literacy development. A child's literacy skills encompass their success with reading, writing, spelling, sound awareness, and more! Families brief, virtual participation in this study will help researchers identify new ways to support families like theirs.
Are you a parent of a child with a Cerebral Palsy diagnosis? Is your child enrolled in 4th-8th grade? Does your child communicate primarily through speech and have a history of communication and literacy difficulties? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a brief interview and the possibility of winning a gift
card!
