Working with kids - whether as a parent, teacher, clinician, or other professional - doesn’t exactly come with an instruction manual (wouldn’t that be nice?!). Thankfully, there are plenty of wise voices out there to help along the way. Podcasts are like having an expert (or a friend who just gets it) in your back pocket, ready to offer ideas, encouragement, or even just a reminder that you’re not alone.
One of our occupational therapists here at the Boston Ability Center has pulled together a list of favorite podcasts that cover everything from managing big feelings and supporting sensory needs to embracing neurodiversity and strengthening family connections.
So next time you’re folding laundry, commuting in Boston traffic, or taking a little sensory break of your own, give these podcasts a listen!
